Happy and Disconnected

I feel happy
and disconnect
ed
This morning's smoke left
fuzz between the grey stuff and the bone
so
safe in my brain beanie,
my eyes roam freely.
Unhindered by the usual
swagger
binary ratings
and fear
of the smallest rejection

Instead I watch
These propped up animals
with curiosity

Young ones
Dark ones
Hot ones with tongues
ripe for plucking
like full peaches
round under the sun

Big brown eyes over the white glow of pixels
Some half-angel that verifies the existence of God
I should say something...
Not today.
It's raining
and I'm happy.
