Why do I write?

I write because it is what I am good at; because I am proud, vainglorious and want to be appreciated; because the right words, in the right place, make me smile.
I write because I want the syntactical swagger of Hunter, and Cohen's zen.
I write because it slaps stickers on the otherwise undefined cacophony that is my feelings, and because if I didn't write, I would have very little to be proud of. I write because hopefully, somebody out there will understand.
